Occupy Infinity Burger

I made Infinity Burger years and years ago. Believe it or not this silly, simple, webcomic  won Best Philosophy Comic, and was nominated for Best Sci-Fi, and Best Humor comic. Really, all it was was an outlet for me to deal with a place I was working at the time. Snog was loosely based on my boss. Delbort was loosely based on me. Some, if not many of the customer exchanges actually happened. Some of the characters were real people, like Mac Mac, and Dave.

Some of the events I chose to "lampoon/satire" were things that were occurring at the time. The next few strips are about the Occupy Wall Street movement. If you don't remember, or don't know, that was when a bunch of young, hipster, people decided to protest financial inequity by loitering in a park by Wall Street. I can't remember for how long, or the name of the park, or what year it was. Honestly, I don't see the point of wasting brain matter on excerises in futility. As you can see, not much has changed, and things, if anything, have gotten worse.

I would bet in fact that many of those young people are now part of the system they were protesting...not unlike the hippies before them that became yuppies, and now greedy boomers hording they're very last penny as they slowly die off. Pennies earned from days when it was possible to go to college, get a decent paying job, afford a decent home, healthcare, without being in debt up to your eye balls. Furthermore, criticizing those younger for not having their "gumption."
